Funding of Deep Atlantic Project's first phase secured

Landeldi’s management team is proud to announce that funding for the first 2.500 tons phase has successfully concluded for the Deep Atlantic Project. The total new equity funding this year will be €15,3 million, parallel to €2 million in debt funding.

After the latest equity round, the family-owned investment company Stoðir hf. became the largest shareholder with 32,9% of the equity. Founders and employees now hold 52% of the equity.

Everyone at Landeldi is pleased and sincerely honoured to welcome such a widely respected and like-minded investor on board. It is a vote of confidence and approval of the quality and hard work of the Landeldi team since 2017.

The Deep Atlantic Mission is to inspire the world’s transition to sustainable food production, supply an abundant source of quality protein and essential nutrients using the most environmentally friendly methods possible, and to do it now.
