Landsvirkjun, Iceland's biggest energy producer, and Landeldi sign a MOU

Landsvirkjun and Landeldi have signed an MOU exploring the possibility of Landsvirkjun providing electricity to our new land-based salmon farm in Thorlakshofn.

In a statement from Landsvirkjun it says:

"Landsvirkjun and Landeldi have signed an MOU exploring the possibility of Landsvirkjun providing electricity to a new land-based salmon farm near Thorlakshofn on the south coast of Iceland.

We are excited to continue working together on this ambitious project, which fits well with our emphasis on value creation and sustainable use of natural resources."
