Landeldi: Official sponsor of reigning National Champions of men's basketball, Þór Þorlákshöfn

Landeldi is delighted to announce it has formally become a part of the Þór Þorlákshöfn basketball family. The thrilling success of the team last season, rides in no small way on a support wave of the a highly energized and enthusiastic local community and Landeldi is stoked to become a part of that.

Þór Þorlákshöfn is the local team here in Ölfus municipality where Landeldi’s grow-out station is being built. The team is the reigning champions of the Icelandic men’s National Championship after securing the title last fall.  Jóhanna Hjartardóttir, the Chairwoman of Þór's Basketball Division signed the sponsorship agreement on behalf of the club, joined by Ingólfur Snorrason on behalf of Landeldi confirming the partnership with the Men's National Basketball Champions in the coming 2021-2022 season.

The Ölfus municipality is growing fast and we know sport and especially basketball is a vital part of this community and has been a source of riveting enjoyment in the last few years.
